November 9, 200916 yr OK, color me a little confused here. Are they not winning because of lack of talent or because of coaching? If it's lack of talent, then doesn't that blame go to Coach K for not being able to evaluate talent, and why will they all of a sudden start winning in two years? :thumb:

They're not winning because of lack of depth, the depth is coming, but that takes more time than anything. They are extremely thin. I feel confident that if they could've made it through this season entirely injury free, they could've won 6 or 7 games. That would've been an improvement. Like I said, I feel he has coached well this year. And I do understand why he'll be let go.

November 9, 200916 yr :ohbrother: Well, let's see they have a better than decent shot at 4-8, or 5-7 as we sit....i tend to think a full roster would lend itself to 1-2 wins. That's not that hard a concept my friend.

November 9, 200916 yr Barring an upset, they are looking at 4-8. I just can't find two other games they would've won... They truly outplayed UConn, or at least offensively......TO's killed them in that game and Utah....the only games that haven't had a prayer is UC, and Pitt.....the rest were winnable, as our every one other than USF from here on out. Whether they win or not, at this point, doesn't really matter. What I am saying is that I felt they have been coached rather well this season. There have been some head scratchers, but there have also been some great coaching decisions. Look, I am not calling the man Knute Rockne, I think he is doing things the right way, and building from the ground up..The program will be winning games sooner rather than later, and it appears he'll have sacrificed his job for it to be so. I respect that.
November 9, 200916 yr ^A lot of people called for Papa Brooks' job two seasons in and they stuck with him. You think Krag deserves the same?
November 9, 200916 yr ^A lot of people called for Papa Brooks' job two seasons in and they stuck with him. You think Krag deserves the same? Deserves? Not sure, but I know this, unless he were to win out, go 7-5, and win his bowl game.....come game 1 next season, that entire upper deck would be a bunch of blue t shirts, and Jurich can't allow that to happen. This fan base is as fractured as I have ever seen. Whether or not that's justified or not, can be debated. But the lack of $'s that would be coming, can not be debated, and IMO, at this point the only way to bring back all the fans is to start a new. So, to answer your question, I do think that he deserves more time, but I understand why it won't be given.

November 9, 200916 yr RP is right, this wasn't a blowout of a 1AA team a blowout is 55-12....UK is BAD.

November 9, 200916 yr Because I played football at the collegiate level, and it is quite easy to see good football players, and even easier to notice the bad ones, and this state is full of them right now. So what fella. That means zip as far as gauging talent. You are a bitter guy though, so it's okay man.

U of L is a joke......doesn't change how bad Kentucky is.
November 9, 200916 yr Classic RP. Has he ever said one good thing about UK in anything? One more and we are bowling. You are exactly right.
November 9, 200916 yr :idunno: Our two best offensive players didn't even play. Not to mention Hartline and and a couple of starters on the OL.
