I think highlands is overrated:ohbrother:, overhyped :ohbrother:and will not make it to the championship game:sssh:. They have won some good games but some of the teams coming up in the playoffs aren't afraid of them :irked: and will walk right in and play some real smash mouth football :madman:. I seem to remember this team having a tougher game or two in last years playoffs then they thought they would.

I think Highlands should at least try to play up in 6A. I mean they already dominate 5A so why not go for knocking off St. X and Trinity?

Last year when Highlands traveled to Johnson Central and Whitley Co. all we heard about was how they were going to play their "smash mouth football" on us. Never really hear about smash mouth football from other schools only the mountain schools. Not a big deal. Just stikes me as a saying that only the mountain schools use.

My guess as I have posted before is that HHS, CovCath and maybe Scott will all move back down to 4A where HHS and CovCath belong enrollment wise.

 

The only reason the KHSAA allowed HHS and CovCath to move up was due to the fact that at the time there were in the case of HHS no other 3A school in NKy and in the case of CovCath there were no other 4A school playing in NKy, so both schools moved up to 5A.

 

Now that Cov Holmes is playing 4A I believe the KHSAA will require HHS and CovCath both to move back down to the division that they are suppose to play in and I have heard Scott will be moved also.

 

Now where will that put Dixie is anybody's guess but I think they will move up to 6A leaving NKy without any 5A teams.

That would put 7 teams in 6A nky.

BTW there is little doubt IMO that HHS and CovCath will be required to play in 4A as with Cov Holmes playing in 4A the reasons for CovCath and HHS playing up are gone, it's just that I am not positive about Scott!
