I was just thinking, What if a school has to shut down for the flu now? I guess that team would have to forfit? If that were so, could knock out some good teams. That would be a hard decision for that schools administration to make.:scared:

CAL's noseguard Blake Ramsey is averaging about 4 sacks a game. Could cause trouble for Lloyd. :eek:

 

 

That should be interesting to see. Lloyd's quarterback is pretty mobile and they move him around on roll outs quite often. He seems to be as comfortable throwing on the run as in the pocket. I think this will be a close game, but Lloyd pulls it out.

I don't think so. Danville has been rolling the last 3 weeks and looks more like the old Danville. I think they continue to roll at home.

 

Danville's bracket is very winnable for them till they get to the semis, where they will likely face Ft. Campbell. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them in the semis.

Ft. Campbell is as heavily favored to win this year as were the Ads in 1993.

I agree but once again there are things Lloyd has to do if they want to continue in the playoffs. 1) Stop the run.. You cannot give up over 300 yards per game on the ground and expect to win. The rest just boils down to ball control and turnovers. Try to keep our defense off the field because it seems that we always have trouble stopping people, the offense has't had that much trouble scoring so I just don't understand why pretty much the same kids can't stop anyone. I still love my Juggs and be there to cheer them on..:dancingpa

Does anyone know where the games are played for all rounds of the playoffs?

I mean who has home field thru rounds 1-4 what seed travels etc....

Three and four seeds travel in round 1. After that it depends on the seed, district and region number. In odd years (2009) two teams that are the same seed travel to the odd district for the regional championship and the odd region for the semis, otherwise the higher seed hosts.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but here is the way I believe it goes. In rounds 1-3 the higher seeded team gets home field. If teams seeded equally face each other in round 3, the home team is determined by their district and the year. This is 2009 so it is an odd numbered year and that means the odd numbered district gets home field if the teams are seeded equally. In round 4, it rotates from year to year but if you look at the bracket on KHSAA it will tell you who the home team is in round 4 because on that line in the bracket it says "at". The team that gets to there will be home team this year in round 4.

As for state champ nobody is close to Fort Campbell. Unless they decide not to show up in spirit or really bad field conditions derail them which I do not think the field conditions will beat them they are 3 time state champs.

Hope I would be wrong if Monroe Co. played Fort Campbell but think Fort Campbell is the class of 2A and can play and beat most of the teams in any class. Have a friend who is a ref and has called Fort Campbell and some other top team games and he says FC the real deal which you see them play you know. Do hope we can win region and play FC again as you all are a class act as a team and fans also. Good luck to both Falcon teams and hope to be in FC for state semi-final.
