Hope I would be wrong if Monroe Co. played Fort Campbell but think Fort Campbell is the class of 2A and can play and beat most of the teams in any class. Have a friend who is a ref and has called Fort Campbell and some other top team games and he says FC the real deal which you see them play you know. Do hope we can win region and play FC again as you all are a class act as a team and fans also. Good luck to both Falcon teams and hope to be in FC for state semi-final.

Will it be Murray's home field advantage that will put Murray over Fort Campbell?

 

You said in an earlier thread that you've been hyping FC all year, but you think they'll lost to Murray (a team that many non FC biased ppl, I know, I know, I know: :deadhorse:) on here say can't hang with FC.

Just think they'll pull an upset. That and being at home and I don't think theres that big a talent differential in the skill positions. Where the Falcons have an advantage is in the line, but, I think if Murray can just hang around in the 1st half and keep it close, it'll really build there confidence and I think they're talented enough to do that. Ft Campbell is used to playing there JV the majority of games in the 2nd half and I think they'll have to play 4 qtrs and they're not accustomed to it...Sometimes, getting out of your comfort zone can do strang things..

While I agree with you, that Murray isn't comparable in the skill position department to Fort Campbell, the facts that you listed have nothing to do with the skill position. Just my two lincolns.

 

The questions to ask are:

Does Murray have the athletes on defense to stop Andrews, who scores one out of every four times he rushes the ball? Do they have a receiving corps that can get past the likes of D. Brown and Powell? Will they punt to Powell?

 

But, like I said before, I will save the bulk of my comments regarding this game for when the game actually happens, should it happen (although all signs point to yes).

 

Murray is an awfully underrated team, there isn't much talk about them on here because there's hardly any Murray fans on here...I think that UK fball fan is the only one (and that's not a disparaging remark, just an observation).

 

I wouldn't, and I know the Falcons coaching staff wouldn't either, underestimate Murray (should that game even happen). With Fort Knox's two wins in their last two games, NO TEAM should ever be understimated.
