Do not know enough about Murray to say if they can beat Fort Campbell or not. Danville will not beat Monroe or Green. Right now Danville is back in the pack like a lot of other schools. Monroe or Green neither one is as good as last year but both are still too good for Danville.

 

Well, I don't agree. If Danville continues to play better each game the way they have been, neither Monroe or Green are too good for Danville. Danville has played a much tougher non district schedule, I think they have finally matured, I know the quaterback has. If Danville plays up to their capability they can beat either team. But they have to beat Glasgow first and;and GC and MC have to win their games tonight. We will find out the next couple of weeks.:thumb:

Continue to think that Murray has comparable talent to FC if you like.

FC won the State Track and Field Championship in May, most are on the FB team.

Last year same Murray team came to FC in the playoffs and left with a 47 - 0 loss.

 

Comfort Zone? 2007 (13-2), 2008 (14-1), 2009 (10-0 regular season) Believe me, it will take a lot more than a road trip to Murray to get the Falcons uncomfortable. A trip to Ft. Thomas Highlands, maybe. A trip to Murray, not hardly!!

 

As I said before do not know a lot about Murray but they better be a top 10 team statewide I mean all classes to beat Fort Campbell.

While I agree with you, that Murray isn't comparable in the skill position department to Fort Campbell, the facts that you listed have nothing to do with the skill position. Just my two lincolns.

 

The questions to ask are:

Does Murray have the athletes on defense to stop Andrews, who scores one out of every four times he rushes the ball? Do they have a receiving corps that can get past the likes of D. Brown and Powell? Will they punt to Powell?

 

But, like I said before, I will save the bulk of my comments regarding this game for when the game actually happens, should it happen (although all signs point to yes).

 

Murray is an awfully underrated team, there isn't much talk about them on here because there's hardly any Murray fans on here...I think that UK fball fan is the only one (and that's not a disparaging remark, just an observation).

 

I wouldn't, and I know the Falcons coaching staff wouldn't either, underestimate Murray (should that game even happen). With Fort Knox's two wins in their last two games, NO TEAM should ever be understimated.

Just because I picked Murray doesn't necc mean I think they're the better team.. The best team doesn't always win and upsets happen every year in the playoffs.. I also picked SValley to knock off Corbin in an upset, but, I would also bet that if they played 5 times, Corbin would win 3 or 4...

I've not seen either team play but I have what I call friends at Fc and let me tell you this, they are a great team. That being said I look at Murray's stats each week and it is very obvious to me that they also are a very good team...My opinion, this could be a very good game, but remember, Fc is the two time state champions and they are also the track champions, can Murray say that?:thumb:
