Are these shirts only applicable for Football, or are they worn for all sports? If all sports, then if you are compiling the numbers then all varsity sports need to be included in your numbers, right?

If all sports included, I would say CovCath would probably lead on the victory total. Since this is a football thread I would say the Birds have a pretty comanding lead at this point.

Which is why I asked if the shirts are applicable to football only. Seems like I have seen these shirts though at other sporting events besides football. I do understand that this was posted in the football forum and football is the king and all, but since it was a question about the shirts, I expanded the scope a little I guess.

I could be wrong but I think they are only sold to students the week of the Highlands / Cov. Cath. football game.

 

Other sports may have shirts for their team, but the shirt in question is the one done during football.

My wife will tell you that I put way too much thought into seemingly trivial matters.

 

I guess I am ready for in-patient treatment. When I saw the thread title, I was reflecting on which version of the Beat Cov Cath shirts worn at the recent varsity game in Park Hills was most clever. One said "Beat Cov Cath (again)" the other said "Beat Cov Cath Again".

 

I think I like the version with the parenthesis. Is it the weekend yet?

At first read I thought you said "which makes no sense" but then I realized I misread your statement. As for the shirts, I think they are okay to wear for the students and their younger siblings, but for the adults I think it may be a little overboard. Heard an alumnus wore one last night and his dad sat right next to him wearing a Notre Dame Academy shirt, figure that one out.

I agree - students, younger siblings, and even very recent alums, probably ok - -f or adults though, I do not think appropriate.
