I think you can distinguish between a student who bought the shirt when he / she was in school, and a parent who bought the shirt long after they graduated (or is wearing their son's shirt, or is not even a graduate of the school.)

For what it's worth...I still have my "Beat Highlands" t-shirt. It's an original issue, purchased the week of the Mud Bowl (and worn under my pads in the Mud Bowl). I have a standing deal with a couple that I'm good friends with who are both Highlands grads. I believe I've mentioned it before: when we go to Cov Cath/Highlands games, we sit in the fan section of whichever team is at home. I generally DO wear my "Beat Highlands" shirt. It may occasionally be underneath of a Cov Cath sweatshirt or jacket, but I don't have any problem wearing it at games, and my friends both get a kick out of the fact that I actually sit in the Highlands section while wearing a "Beat Highlands" shirt.

 

I don't see the shirts being much different from any other Cov Cath shirts, apart from the fact that they're actually "specific" to the game being played.

Please tell me he didn't have them on with gym shorts and a dress shirt.:ohbrother:
