Black-Out Rumor for UK

Featured Replies

Me too. It's just for fun and if it helps the players what is the problem?

I believe he told you the problem.

"We don't have black jerseys".

May not seem like a problem to you, but I'm pretty sure it can't be done without black jerseys.

Haha true.:D It's not like UK couldn't have gotten them though, that's what I'm saying.

Pigman, I'm old school too. Just don't understand the fascination with black uniforms if it is not a school color. I think it's a generational thing. Also don't understand why my 19 year-old son goes to class at UK with a face looking like he lives on the street either.

That is the other issue - there's no way to have a black out, a blue out or any out when its cold. It's one thing to dig through your closet and find a black t-shirt - it's a whole other issue to find a coat.

What you don't wear coats?:lol::lol:

Seriously, how many UK fans have black UK clothing. Especially coats or jackets if it's cold Saturday night. Not a very good idea IMO.

Sorry LRCW but I just have to laugh at this post.

Put down the Kool-aid wear some black and relax!!:lol::lol:

You would think a fat guy like me has a lot of black in his wardrobe wouldn't you? Unfortunately I don't, and I know I don't have any black UK clothing. I guess I could wear a garbage bag.

You are not fat! wow that sounds like a chick response I think you are fabulous just the way you are but really go buy some black crap to wear! :p

This is quite simply one of the most poorly executed marketing ventures that I have seen with UK football.

Why have a "blackout" and the team not wear black?

Sports Marketing-FAIL if I have ever seen one.

Unless they are pulling the wool over the fans eyes, it is silly.

How hard would it be to get a few sponsors and put a black T-shirt on every seat? I feel like I could pull that one off.

Just admit it. UK fans have no other clothing outside "UK Blue" and they can't/won't buy any other color!:lol::lol::lol:

That's the spirit OR!! :ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper:

No one has said no to black helmets this Saturday. Just black uniforms. Black helmets with the blue would look pretty neat
