Mustangs and Wolverines are both 1-1 in the district; winner goes 2-1 and stays home for the first week of the playoffs against (likely) Elizabethtown...loser goes on the road and probably plays Shawnee.

 

These two teams played a good one last year in Goshen, won by North...

 

Who wins and why?

Not sure the Mustangs will have an answer for Curry. Hills is a tough place to play, will be tons of green and white with a hostile attitude. I say hills 28-14 with hills pulling away late. Gonna be a great game! Good luck to both.

Got to think another wet game will favor North

Much will depend upon which Mustang team that shows up in Frankfort - the one that was beaten soundly by Henry Co or the one that shut out Spencer Co. Hills' defense played well last week at Henry Co and limited big plays. The offense was under pressure all evening, but made some plays to put them in position to win. Hills' LBs have to be more disciplined to stop North's running attack, while the offensive line must give Curry time to throw and open holes for Wright inside. A great deal on the line for both teams, but I think Western Hills' senior class playing at home finds a way to win. Hills, 28-14.

To much on the line for WHHS not to be ready to play. I am sure the coaching staff will have them ready to play.
