This could be a trap game for Henry.. Wildcats need to be careful going into this one. Spencer laid an egg at North Oldham, but is a much better team than that score.

Do you think that Henry would be better off to go outside the Region to pick up a new head coach?? I've heard Nethery now a couple of times, but can't help to think that maybe Henry should open it up and see who might be available and intersted in the job before they go within the region to find their next coach

Agreed. Carroll Co had an excellent year. Congrats to the ladies and to Coach Boles and the rest of the CC coaching staff. This team is headed in the right direction. They are still very young and should have good years ahead of them.

It's official, according to a parent from Henry Co., Coach Kasten told his players after the loss to Shelby yesterday that he has turned in his resignation. Apparently, he wants to watch his son playing ball. Good Luck to Coach Kasten, who did a fantastic job at Henry, and to the Wildcats in finding a good replacement.

On Wednesday, Henry Co. defeated Gallatin Co. 10-0 in 5 innings. Owen Co. beat Carroll Co. 6-4. Didn't make it back last night so I don't know who won the championship game.

Last night at the NCKC, I heard a rumor that the coach at Henry Co. (Caston) is stepping down after this year. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that?? I would think that would be a good job to have for the next few years. They have a very young team, and look to be the district favorite for many years to come.

I think that Ballinger started to play and may have made it through the first couple of weeks of games until Western found out and asked her not to play. If I am right, she was doing it just for fun.

Carroll Co is extremely young. They have been for the past few years. For some reason, as the girls get older, they don't play. They seem to have to rebuild every other year without graduating many seniors from their team. Coach Boles in my opinion is doing the things that it takes to get their team on the right track, it will just take a few years for these young girls to mature and develop the winning mentality

The 8th region semifinals and finals at Henry Co. have been postponed due to the postponement of the girls region tournament. The semifinals will be on Tuesday with the Finals on Wednesday.

Did anyone have any problems last night at Henry Co.? The worst problem I saw was that the pass gate wasn't easily accessible.

There will be more than one entrance. The rear of the gym will have an entrance, however there will be an entrance at the front of the school for people parking out front.

Oldham and Anderson Definitly. Shelby will probably be the third team and then the drop off is astounding. Grant lost their pitcher last year that they rode through the last 2 regions. Henry lost almost their entire team to graduation last year. Should be a pretty easy walk for Anderson and Oldham to the region title game(assuming they are in opposite halves of the draw).
