Last night at the NCKC, I heard a rumor that the coach at Henry Co. (Caston) is stepping down after this year. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that?? I would think that would be a good job to have for the next few years. They have a very young team, and look to be the district favorite for many years to come.

That would be a shocker.

It's official, according to a parent from Henry Co., Coach Kasten told his players after the loss to Shelby yesterday that he has turned in his resignation. Apparently, he wants to watch his son playing ball. Good Luck to Coach Kasten, who did a fantastic job at Henry, and to the Wildcats in finding a good replacement.

He will be on the show this week. We'll hear it from him.

It is official. Coach Kasten told me on the show that he wants to concentrate on family and will not return for softball. He will be back for Volleyball though.
