Time to get it started. Who wins this game in Taylorsville? Henry on a roll and Spencer was rolled over last Friday. Weather iffy for now.

This is a huge game for the Wildcats, to see if they can be focused with the big picture here... Spencer has the talent to win this game... Very interesting match up... SC has been inconsistent but have played well against some teams I would consider much better than Henry.

Yes. HC is 1st and SC is 4th. Looks a trip to the bee hive for the bears in 3 weeks.

They beat a very down Frankfort team (riddled with injury), lost to a not very good E'town team (who got pounded by Shawnee), played with a middle of the road 4A team in West Jess (still lost this game), beat a not so great East Jess team (though East has had moments where they looked decent), Montgomery is not a good football team and they lost that ball game...just curious who the teams were that were "much better than Henry"?

This game has no bearing on the district, so it's possible, I guess, that both coaches might take extra care with an injured player, or even experiment a bit. So this game outcome may hinge somewhat on what each coach wants to get out of the game.

 

Of course, nobody coaches to lose, and I expect these two to go at it pretty hard in a very intense matchup. Spencer needs a pick-me-up after seeing a promising season turn south...Henry needs to keep the momentum going.

 

If Spencer keeps turning the ball over as they have the past few weeks, I don't think there's any doubt that Henry rolls. But if the Bears can hang onto the football, their time-killing offense could make it very interesting. Cameron Smith is a very talented, elusive back who's already over 1,000 yards - but he's also fumbled six times in the last two games, losing three.

 

I think Henry's defense is just too much in this one, though.

The ole pride cliche' is the main motivator in this one.

This could be a trap game for Henry.. Wildcats need to be careful going into this one. Spencer laid an egg at North Oldham, but is a much better team than that score.

Henry is a good team, but Frankfort would give them lost of problems and might even come out with a win. Spead kills and Frankfort might have one of the faster D in the area.

Last I checked they have 3 or 4 out...or did for a while! Anyway, hear it maybe a wet night in Taylorsville, this will make things interesting if it holds true. I take the Cats in a good one, 35-21.
