Oldham and Anderson Definitly. Shelby will probably be the third team and then the drop off is astounding. Grant lost their pitcher last year that they rode through the last 2 regions. Henry lost almost their entire team to graduation last year. Should be a pretty easy walk for Anderson and Oldham to the region title game(assuming they are in opposite halves of the draw).

Good teams in the 8th. However, my 8th view is tainted a bit as I can't get past that one umpire that invented the rulebook.

Does anyone know anything about Walton-Verona's fastpitch team? Their players? Their Coach? Can they compete with the teams in their district?

The coach is John Anderson (Walton '81). They seemed to have a very young and talented team last year when I saw them. I'd say with a year or two of physical maturity , these girls will compete for a district/region.
