I thought that LCA would win but the margin surprises me. They can definitely claim to be the best A team in the state.

THis basically the same team as LCA last year just better! And Raceland graduated on of the best classes in the schools history.

We had a pretty damaging injury tonight. Farley left the game heading to the hospital for an Xray on his hand.

 

I really hate to hear that. Farley was impressive, moving the Rams down the field with his passing. I hope it turns out better than expected.

Congratulations, Eagles. You have a lot to be proud of. Dominique Hayden's record speaks for itself. However, one factor that makes that possible is that the offensive line play has been outstanding. Every running play sees several linemen downfield continuing to find people to block.

 

The kickoff team has improved over the season, & that's great to see.

I heard an update that it was 35-0 at half. Is that correct? If so, then there should be no surprise in the final. With the exception of the 0 on the Rams side. I assume that LCA had the 2nd string in the game in the 3rd. I hope that Farley is alright. LCA is the top dog, no doubt in that class. Expectations should be high. Looking forward to the playoffs to see if anyone can match up with them. Congrats to Bluto's gang.:thumb:

Hayden and LCAs starters only played one series in the second half. I really don't see anyone stopping LCAs offense in the playoffs.

Speaking of the game, I think it was a very classy gesture by Coach Rains to pull the starters when LCA had the ball on Raceland's 15 yard line with 8 mintues to go in the third up 40-0. It was also a very classy move for Coach Vanderhoof to do the same. I know the coaches are good friends and Coach Rains showed mercy by not going for the running clock and Coach Hoof returned the act with pulling his starters and not playing them against LCA's freshmen. Good sportsmanship all the way around.
