oldrambler Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 Congrats to L.C.A. on the win and good luck the rest of the way out (unless you should meet Raceland again:sssh:). Also............Congrats go out to L.C.A.'s D. Hayden on setting the new Kentucky State TD record. What a great accomplishment. :thumb::thumb:
oldrambler Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 I don't think there is much doubt that we were beaten soundly by a better football team tonight. I fully believe that LCA will b raising the Ky. State Class A Championship trophy later this year. Rams....there is not much else to say other than we got whipped by a very good football team. Let's now put this one behind you and get ready for an out of district and arch rival game with Russell next week and then a playoff run. GO RAMS !!!! BTW: I just wanted to report and serve warning to the LCA folks....I will be filing an official protest to the khsaa on you. From my understanding you brought out fire trucks in answer to a Raceland tradition. Being in Lexington you have acsess to more fire trucks than we have in Raceland so that my friends is cheating and completely unacceptable!!:madman: Also....nice touch and touche' :thumb::lol: (We will remember :irked::lol:)
The Red Rambler Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 I'm not super shocked at this score. It was going to be an uphill battle for the Rams and LCA is better and more experienced at nearly every position. Rams just have to put this one out of their minds and get ready for that little school on Red Devil Lane to come calling in 7 days.

Ram Fan04 Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 I'm not sure why everyone is so shocked. LCA is the best team in the state(1A). Congrats to the Eagles and Dominique Hayden :thumb:. We had a pretty damaging injury tonight. Farley left the game heading to the hospital for an Xray on his hand.

Ram Fan04 Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 Has Hayden signed with anyone? I'm 99% sure he has not made a verbal to anyone at this point.
ryanparker Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 I'm not surprised by the outcome of this one and I don't really understand those who are. LCA is the same team they were last year with an additional year of experience. Raceland is Logan, Denton, Carver, Boyles, and a giant Swede away from being what they were last year. The gap is wide between these teams right now. The only surprise I see is that Raceland didn't score at all and that LCA didn't score more. Old Rambler is right...LCA should compete for the 1A title this year. Anything less than at least making the title game would be a momumental disappointment with the talent they have. As for Raceland, there's nothing to be ashamed about. You've got a good game to look forward to next week in what should be one of the best environments of the season.
