October 15, 200916 yr I don't think there is any way to prove that yet. Believe me I love when the non-BCS team gets drilled like Hawaii did by Georgia. I just see this Boise team as better than most... I hope I'm wrong and they get drilled, but I think they can play with any team not named Florida or Alabama. I agree with that. They MANHANDLED Oregon this year, im not sure why noone sees that as significant.

A win over BYU isn't actually all that's cracked up to be. BYU made their rep beating a wounded Oklahoma team and got handed it's head by a poor Florida State team. That win helps, but it isn't everything. I stand by my assertion: an undefeated Boise State team is a LOCK for a BCS bowl.

As for Oklahoma, in 2004 I think there were plenty who thought Auburn should have been in that game. Regardless I think USC was 2 TD's better then anyone that year.

I just don't think there are going to be enough spots. I think that as the season goes along teams are going to start jumping Boise. Just my thoughts, but I have been wrong many times before.

Utah and Hawaii both drew worse than Boise, and that was in games against powerful TV schools from the SEC. It looks as though the only thing worse for TV than having a non-BCS school in your game is having a Big East team in your game!
October 16, 200916 yr Interesting that the Championship and the Rose Bowl are the top six. I imagine if Boise played let's say Ohio State... it'd be a great draw. Like you said, as long as it's not someone from the Big East :lol:
