They may be running the clock in the 2nd quarter..........Boyle BIG

The only way that there could be running clock in the 2nd quarter is if both teams agree. I don't think that WJ would agree to that. And I think it will be the second half before that happens.

Per KHSAA website. Just decided to show the past games within the last decade. Boyle County did not play West Jessamine from 2003 to 2006.

1999: Boyle County 42/West Jessamine 6

2000: Boyle County 67/West Jessamine 13

2001: Boyle County 59/West Jessamine 0

2002: West Jessamine 13/Boyle County 9

2003-06: DNP

2007: Boyle County 45/West Jessamine 14

2008: Boyle County 55/West Jessamine 6

While Boyle County usually dominates West Jessamine, you definitely wouldn't want to over look these guys. I still think Boyle County wins big. I was just bored.

Very well put Hatz! I don't like it when people get on here and knock Coach Pardue. The last I checked he has 5 Championship rings and he has been a big part of the success Boyle has established.

Yes, he was a very big part of the success Boyle "had" established and if he had continued to call the offensive plays instead of letting someone else do it, perhaps that success would have never missed a beat. I don't think that anyone, including myself, ever questioned his calls as an offensive coordintor (cause no one did it better) I just questioned some of the calls he made as a head coach.

I think Coach Pardue brought in a coach that he use to work with to call the offensive plays. I believe his last name was Davis. He might have been from or coached in Virginia or WV. He supposedly knew the same offense that Pardue had been running. History tells us now, that he didn't. :idunno:

Boyle by 49 this friday.:ylsuper:

Boyle County will win this one 65-0. From what I have heard all they do is run the ball. Boyle will load up and shut that down. I would be surprised if they gain more than 50 yards in the game. I also look for Mc Shara to have one of those 300+ yard games.:dancingpa

ThinThirty 65-0 is big numbers but I agree it could be big if French allows it to.

Exactly! :thumb:

I really wonder about the disrespect for West Jess and some of their opponents. Talk about cocky! My goodness! French builds the Boyle County program back up, and now we have posters ripping West Jessamine's competition as weak? Don't get me wrong, Boyle's schedule has been much tougher IMHO, but I think a few of our posters need to learn how to use a little tact (or class, ... you choose the term).

However, with that being said, ... Boyle County is just a MUCH better team IMHO. They have a solid group who has played a tough schedule and while West Jess is a good team, ... I just think Boyle Co is on a different level than almost every team in their class. McShara is a special player and he is surrounded by other very talented players and an excellent coaching staff.

Boyle County wins easily. I think West's record looks better than their team really is.

"You are what your record says you are." (Bill Parcells)

However, I don't think that the schedules match up well. Boyle County has played a much tougher schedule. Fact is that West Jess is undefeated, and you would think that the Boyle County fans would relish knocking off an undefeated team as opposed to trashing them or their schedule.

I guarantee you that one of the things that make Coach French a winner everywhere he has been is that he doesn't overlook anyone. He is telling his Rebels that they are facing an undefeated team and better take them serious. He is pointing out how big West Jessamine's line is (and they are gianormous). He is not trashing WJ's opponents or strength of schedule.

Good post MT. :thumb:

Here is an article to the game.

“We try to approach each game the same and prepare the same every week. But I think with it being senior night and West being unbeaten, we won’t have any trouble getting our players’ attention for this game,” French said.
