bigblueinsanity Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Per ESPN Bottom Line. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4538498 This could be cancer or help the Jets.
bigblueinsanity Posted October 7, 2009 Author Posted October 7, 2009 This move will either really help them or really hurt them.
bigblueinsanity Posted October 7, 2009 Author Posted October 7, 2009 Maybe Lebron wanted Edwards out of Cleveland for punching his little pal!
Blue Magic Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 It'll be cool to see the Browns succeed now That's one of the only talented players they have, cancer or not.
Original Rookie Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Hopefully it helps his fantasy production.
TrueBlueWildcat Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 It'll be cool to see the Browns succeed now That's one of the only talented players they have, cancer or not. He would have left after the season anyway. Better to get something now!
ACE Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Edwards muffed more passes than any pro I have ever seen. It was time for the Browns to move on. Mohamad Massaquoi looked great catching passes that Edwards couldn't have made. Edwards was more trouble than he was worth.
5wide Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 He might play better in New York. Don't forget that this guy amassed over 1500 yards and 15 TD's just two seasons ago. He's a talent. If the Jets can't get it out of him, they and the Giants might be the favorites to reach the Super Bowl.
Original Rookie Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Hopefully LeBron will go to the Knicks now.
woodsrider Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Edwards can't catch. He has his share of drops but if they can get the Edwards of 2007 then the Jets just might pull off the division. 2007 stats 1289 yds 16 TDs 80 rec It's hard to look at last year due to the Browns QB issues. If Ryan can keep Edwards in line he should be a good pick up.
Jim Schue Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Plus, he'll be closer to his older brother, Method Man.
cooperstown Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 He's on one of my fantasy teams, so I watched him closely this past weekend agaisnt the Bengals. I think a big part of the reason he isn't catching any balls is because he's not open. I was amazed how many times he appeared to be tightly covered by the Bengals' decent-but-not-special CB's. He looks like he gives about 75% effort on most plays.

And that right there is probably the A-No. 1 reason why shipping him out was a great idea for the Browns and Meth Jr. He's probably given up on Quinn and Anderson, and I'm betting you see a more inspired player in NJ.
