Favre just finds ways to get his teams to win at the end of games. That is why I argue with people that the Packers would have been better last year with Favre still. He probably would have found away for them to win a lot of those close games they lost last year.

He just loves to play the game.

That's just Brett Favre being Brett Favre. Doesn't know the guy, just met him, and BOOM, flings a touchdown pass to him in the back of the endzone. You've gotta love his enthusiasm. He could play for another five years. The guys in Minnesota love him, because they believe he can take them to the Super Bowl.

 

In my honest opinion...

Truth be told, didn't he start 8-3 in New York last season only to fade down the stretch and miss the playoffs. I don't think that will happen this year, but it wouldn't be a surprise. And you just know there's a killer interception in him somewhere during the late season and/or playoffs.

This is why the Vikings wanted him. They didn't want that game situation to be left in hands of Jackson. Favre still has a love for the game. Love him or hate him, he plays each game like it is his first.
