I am hoping that a large group of Fans will come to the game and GET LOUD!!! We need to be the 12th man on Defense. I was dissapointed at the number of fans sitting on their hands during Friday's game. If I don't wake up hoarse on Saturday morning we didn't play football.

Purefan you may be the #1 fan down in Muskie land. Hopefully some of what you got will rub off. When the team gets rolling you'll hear more. It's like that everywhere. You only find out who the true fans are when the team is a little down. And things arn't going the way they think they should. Heck we had fans crying last year in the stands at the coaching staff. And we were 12-0. :idunno: Just keep up the good work. Things always come full circle. A coaching staff needs three or four years to change a down program. I'll be following you program. And will be a fan except one game a year. Some people won't think that. It's because I don't sugar coat anything. I say what I think. Good Luck every friday and the rest of the season.

Greenup Co. 7

 

No way the Musketeers hang with Rowan Co. Too many skill kids. This is a different Rowan team from last year. they should have beaten a very good Mason Co. Team.

I think that Rowan wins this one 28 to 14.

I believe that Rowan has too much for Greenup to handle at this point. I believe that Greenup is headed in the right direction though. Hang in there GC - I hope you prove me wrong.

Get back to work today Musketeers. Listen to the coaches. Make the adjustments. We can win on Friday--Believe it, and work to make it happen.

Does anyone realize that GC put up 400 yrds on the ground and only had to punt once against a very good Coal Grove team. Defense needs work, but I think these stats tell how dangerous this offense is.

Just goes to show you there IS a silver lining in every dark cloud. I sincerely hope GC stays positive and focused on fundamentals and simply getting better with every play.

 

Don’t pay attention to the scoreboard or season record…just keep plugging away. Keep the passion that you had at the beginning of the season…the prize is still just as valuable.

LOL, I think there alot of devoted GC fans now days, thanks to all GC fans for your support this year, you guys have been great.

Hey Coupon I don't think all those yards were against their starting defense,but we did do a decent job.I don't think we would have had over 100 yards if it were not for Carters hard running,because there was not to many holes to run through.I think on every one of his runs he got hit at the line of scrimmage.A solid offense with all eleven players putting forth 110% but not what I would call dangerous. Our defense is dangerous though, it sure scares me.But with all that said I think our Coaching Staff takes care of business this week and we come out on top this week against Rowan.

After watching film over and over, your way off. Carters 1st TD, nobody touched him. The only yards that came on CG's second team was Carters last TD run of 55 yrds. So yes most of those were on the 1st team, Rashard had 272 on 18 carries. 400-272= 128yds, If Lyle or Waugh get the 18 to 20 carries that Carter did, we would have still had 300 or so. Anytime a team can eat the clock with 8 minute drives and rack up huge numbers on the ground, I think any Coach will tell you that is a dangerous offense.
