After watching cable 10, I think FCHS has a BIG chance to win. FHS can not catch a ball and does not really get lined up legally too often, way to many sloppy plays for FHS. They or anyone for that matter can not do those things and win in a dominant performance.

Those problems are being fixed as we speak.........

If the Defense didnt do good then how come Hills only scored 14 points, and the only reason they scored the first was because of a broken play when QB Dylan Curry was scrambling and a Wide Receiver was left wide open while a corner was drifting off to try to come up because he thought the defense had Curry. That's 6. Then, a fake Field Goal lead to 2 points. That's 8. Finally, Hills kept pushing and trying and trying and pushing and they finally got what they were looking for an over the line pass to a receiver that barely caught the ball.

 

Hills did not pack very many stats this game due to Frankfort's hard fought defense. :deadhorse:

 

This Friday, it will be a different story, I beleive in my heart 100% Frankfort is going to :sssh: all the ramble about their 2 losses.

Tru B, Hills had the ball most of all the 4th Qt. But it's not about hills. and Yes I'm Very upset at the way everything has turn out this season. Tillman is out, Q is out... so when I see Frankfort high look terrible it get underneath my skin cause I know they are better than that, and the coaching staff is way better than that. But I’m not at practice, nor do I coach them so I wouldn’t know how much heart they have but Frankfort high is Lacking in Leadership right now and that is why I predict another Frankfort lost... But I'm hoping someone call me out and proves me wrong.

FHS will be okay. Win or Lose Friday night they will be okay. What has happen at FHS this season is hard to over come. But the kids are working at getting better. FHS wants to be playing their best in Dec. not Sept. As I am sure Coach Stepp feels the same way.

 

FHS year overview.

 

1. 4 returning players didn't return due to not passing summer school.

 

2. Lose leading receiver and return guys as well as one of the best DB's in the area.

 

3.Week 1 Lose D-1 running back for the season in the second quarter.

 

4. Week 2- Starting FB /MLB went down the second half of Spencer County game.

 

5. Week 3- lose starting offensive tackle in the 3rd quarter.

 

6. Week 4 - Flu has hit the team and several players are out. We haven't even played a down.

 

This team has lost several players. Due to injuries, sickness, and grades. The guys that are left are working hard and trying to understand their role. But I am not sure any Class A team wouldn't struggle with the number of kids lost this early.

 

Someone says they lack leadership, this is true because the leaders are on the sidelines with knee braces on.

 

Someone said the offensive line struggled. Yes they haven't had the same 5 all season.

 

Someone said the offense dropped 3 TD's against Hills. Yes, but those are back ups that are now starters. Come November and December they will be catching those balls.

 

Someone says they are dispointed in the way FHS is playing. Guess what So are the kids and coaches. The difference is they are working hard at getting better, while this person sends negative thoughts through young kids minds.

 

FHS is not the team they where on July 15th or the team they thought they would be today. That doesn't mean the Goals have changed. The team goal is to be in Bowling Green in December.

 

Getting beat by Western Hills or Franklin County doesn't get in the way of playing in the playoffs. Don't get me wrong FHS wants to win Friday and will raise 3 kinds of Cain when the ball is kicked off. But if they don't at the end of the game the question will be, Did they play better this Friday?

 

There is plenty of talent on that team. It just a matter of being healthy and getting plenty of reps.

 

So will FHS win Friday? I am not sure. But I will say the kids and coaches will come out fighting.

This was said last year as well. I am an avid FC fan and I am sick of hearing about FHS naming the score year and an year out when the Flyers have owned the series since it was renewed.
