Was the lack of impact from Neal and McMurray as much do to the defense of Cincy St. X rather than to the efforts of these individuals? How much difference does it make if Louisville St. X is blowing the other team off of the line? How often is St. X dominated on the line? Usually, Louisville St. X can wear down another team and control the line.

What about the speed of Cincy St. X’s defensive backs? How much does the St. X play calling have to do with the outcome? Can St. X succeed against teams like Cincy St. X primarily running the ball?--not only just running the ball, but also being very predictable on where and how they run the ball? How much also comes into play psychologically when St. X is not use to playing a team like Cincy St. X?

Cincy X's defense was awesome as well as every aspect of the team. However I believe that you can overcome and succeed against any opponent. Montano and others were able to make things happen. I expected to see the same from Neal and McMurray. It makes all the difference if Lou X is able to blow the other team off the line to create the hole. This obviously didn't happen. Why because Cincy X didn't allow it. I would say no...Lou St. X can't win by just running the ball against teams like Cincy St. X. As far as the play calling I really can't comment. I am not a coach. I think individuals can always state how to do it better/different than it was done. My opinion on that is...“If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we’d all have a merry Christmas." I don't disagree (Lou X being predictable) with you but at the end of day St. X has a lot wins over many years for being "so predictable."

I think for some there may have been a psychological issue in playing a team that good. However I didn't see any player from Lou X ever give up last Friday. I think with experience in playing more teams of this caliber Lou X will be fine.

You are turning my words into something they are not. I made statement based upon what actually happened in a game. Nothing more...nothing less. I think it is VERY funny that I name indiviuals and it has to be seen or made into a negative. For the record, I think Neal & McMurry are outstanding athletes and wish nothing but the best for both of them.

 

Lou X lost. They got beat by a better team. Move forward and learn from it. It's really not the end of world.

You must not know about Highlands football, everyone knows Highlands never overlooks anyone. I must say I'm guilty of overlooking teams,but that's my problem.

This will be the year the boys from Fort Thomas comes out on top of the the big Ohio teams. There is just to much pride and tradition involved in the game. The bombers have a great team' date=' but the Bluebirds have to many Offense of weapons,and they will out score them. Good Luck both teams[/quote']

This thread is a little premature considering Highlands plays Boone County this week. Maybe you can tell us something about Cincy X ,in the meantime.on your basis for your prediction.(We already heard that they are big and athletic). Have you seen Highlands play this year? If so,how do they match up talent wise? (Last year HHS played your Cardinals,they were also big and athletic ,yea we lost 33-18 and our star running back was watching the game on the side line with a broken leg .) That game was played at Colerain.
