With injuries that wouldn't hurt Raceland as much as you think. With an exception of a couple that would basically just remove the players on the sidelines in shorts and a jersey.

 

Any team that has injuries to starting skill players can drastically change the course of a game. I honestly feel if Barr was playing, we would be 2-1 and not 1-2. I also think we would probably be favored against GC if he were playing but he isn't.........so who knows.

We have been bit hard by the injury bug. I feel even if Farley would've played last week we would be 2-1 let alone if both Barr and Farley would've played. But it's part of the game. I'm sure Oklahoma is saying the same thing we are about their last game.

And yes you are correct! The attitude that we played with Friday was enough to beat us, no matter the personel. Something has to change inside their craniums if we ever right this ship. The talent is there but the heart is not. Sad, very sad.

It hasn't been mentioned in this thread so far, but Coach Maynard has been on the winning side of this rivalry 10 years in a row. I hope the Rams play with intensity to help extend the streak to 11.

You are certainly right about that Graybeard. One unanswered question that imo is the main problem/question is how will the Rams come out in this one attitude wise. Should it be with the same work ethic/attitude they played with at Fleming then there will be a victory party in Lloyd later on Friday night. Sidelinedoc said it best.....what is located between the Ram players ears (attitude & pride) that has people concerned. No one is really sure if they really "want" to do what it takes to win.

As for this game, I do feel that it will be a very close one and not a big margin of victiory regardless of who wins.

Truth be told... My son is a Ram, and I coached a majoriy of GCHS's seniors and juniors when they were middle schoolers. So I was going with GC because in my world I would like to take about 0.2-0.5% of the credit for teaching the GC players their foundation of fundamentals... :lol: But when I went to post my score predictions, my son would not allow me to place Raceland on the losing end of the score... :thumb: :lol:
