13 rushes for 354 yards and 5 TD's. Had one long run run returned because of a penalty or he would have been in the 400 yard range.:notworthy:

 

This was mostly done in the 2nd. and 3rd. quarters.

My hat is off to BC, there "D" is excellent, but they better hope #2 stays healthy all year. That young man is the best running back I thing I have ever seen in high school, he was the difference. Congratulations to the Rockets you played a great game, and the game was that close, Rockcastle caused the fumbles with hard hitting "D".

Way to go Rebels, Reese is a BEAST. I agree with goat also, we're going to have to have some other playmakers step up. Good win!

Unbelievable. I was wondering what his yardage was. I had no idea it was that high, but what an amazing performance. Good job, Rees!!!!!!!!!!!

 

We have a lot of work to do. Our passing game needs work as well as our pass defense, but if teams can't stop Rees.........

 

I thought we came out flat and possibly a little complacent. I am grateful for the win, but I thought we could have played a lot better. Fortunately, it is game number 2 and I feel that we will get better.

On another note, I met Adopted Admiral and Titletownclown tonight and sat with them from the end of the 2nd quarter through most of the 3rd. Great guys and I look forward to hanging out with them on a nice lazy Sunday in the near future.

I was gone for so long with AA and TTC that I didn't want to make the lady upset with me for being gone for so long. I'll find you next Saturday.:thumb:

You have to give credit to Rockcastle. They came out ready to play and IMO will win a lot of games this year. I came away very impressed with their team. The 2 turnovers that we had to give them the ball in the redzone on 2 of their TD drives where both really hard hits. We didn't just drop the ball, they where forced turnovers. We better learn to hold on to the ball when taking those type hits in the future. Goodluck to the Rockets on the rest of the season.

Boyle seemed a bit out of sorts to begin the game, but once they caught fire, everything was fine. They definitely have a lot of athletes this year. It didn't seem to matter where the Dawson kid lined up on D because he seemed to be in on nearly every defensive play no matter where the play was made.

 

I also thought Rockcastle looked solid and should also have a good year.

Seems like Cook was in on quite a few plays tonight.
