I was there for the NewCath game, don't remember the O-line wearing anybody out at all. What I did notice was a lot of guys going both ways for Dixie.

Conditioning will be a big factor in the 4th. I'll take BW in a close game.

 

If conditioning is a factor, I agree. I heard Dixie picked up the conditioning this year but in the past few years Beechwood's superior conditioning is really what won the games for them against Dixie.

Where is this game being played? I've heard the location has changed.:confused:

Beechwood is a 1A school so depth is always a issue. But there is a lot of talent in the junior and sophomore classes so they are probably deeper than they have been the last couple of years, especially at the skill positions. Line inexperience and less size there than the past couple years is Beechwood's challenge this year.

Their O-Line did not impress me very much last Friday. This will give Dixie's secondary their first test of the year. I thought that they were gang tackling much better than in years past against NewCath, but then they only had to worry about the run. Now they will have to guard the whole field. It appeared that they had the athletes to do it. They looked like their safeties and CBs were very aggressive. This will be a good game for the Colonels to tune up for their district, where I will be shocked if they don't come in at least second. This will also be a good game for Beechwood to cut some teeth. I look for Dixie to win 28-21. I don't see Dixie's receivers dropping the passes that would have blown last Friday's game wide open.

Hate to make a prediction cause I'm not real familiar with what Beechwood has returning, but I do know Dixie has alot of talent back. It's hard to imagine Beechwood not being dominate across the board...maybe inexperienced??? Dixie by 4...17-13
