Brazilian Steak House

Featured Replies

The last time I was there it was $50.00 per person, but that was a couple of years ago. You cant really do this on your grill though.

The concept is a great one. A salad bar filled with all kinds of things. Each diner has a card by his/her plate. When you are done with the salads, you turn the card over to green. It signals the waiters that you are ready for "meat fest." The waiters have different types of meat on skewers and you get your choice of any and all. Different cuts of steak, lamb, chicken, etc. They keep it all coming.

It was alot of fun. Given the price and the "all you can eat" concept, I would recommend that you starve yourself all day before going.

I see. So, the use of the term "steak house" is a bit of a misnomer.

Love Brazilian steak houses. Surprisingly, there is a really good one in Enterprise, AL. the Brasas Brazil.

I simply cannot imagine spending $50 on myself for a meal...

What is the most you would spend on yourself?

$20 if it's a special occasion... I don't spend much on myself.

If I remember correctly from different thread, how much are the concert tickets at Rupp for "Cold Desert" costing you? :idunno: :D

As they say different strokes for different folks.

Just kidding OK!

I hope you have a great time, even if I have no idea who they are!

I am going to have to E-mail my daughter to find out who "Cold Desert" is, as I just don't quite keep up with today's music being an oldguy like I am! :idunno::lol:

But, would you spend it on your date???:D

  1. The band is Kings of Leon.
  2. Tickets were $45 apiece.
  3. I did not pay for them. :D

The moral of this story is... I'm cheap and I'll be the first to admit it.

My date is the girl that I have been with for almost 6 years, and she wouldn't LET me spend that much on food.

Ate at one in Atlanta. Fogo de Chau or something like that. I thought it well worth the money.

It looks like spindoc and myself will be making a trip to the Brazilian Steak House. :dancingpa:dancingpa

It is worth the experience. The meat is typically rather salty though. Order extra beverages!

That's the style. It's partly marinated in rock salt.

My kids took us to Texas De Brazil for our anniversary a couple of years ago. I'll definitely go back. It was worth the price.

Having been to Brazil several times on business, I was invited to a barbeque at one of my clients home. The meat is marinated in a course salt, and the charcoal is more of a wood base. The meat is kept a little farther away from the flame than we typically grill. I have been to these steakhouses many times, and never have paid more than $10.00-12.00. It has been about three years since my last visit, my how I long to go back.
