Ryan Timmons......Franklin County. He will see significant action at the varsity level and will be a difference maker. No doubt one of the top freshman in the state.

Is this a list in order, or just listing 15 players. If it's in order, I would argue McGovney is Top 5, at least Top 10.

I would argue that Mcclendon would be higer on the list after the nationals and AAu season he had over the summer.

Is this a list of top freshman or those who are going to make an impact at the varsity level?

I think that information was incorrect. I know he played summer ball with the varsity at FCHS. School started today....is he at Trinity?

Top players in the class of 2013. Some may not have an impact on the varsity level (Quin Richardson at Scott County) as their varsity teams are loaded.

No offense to you or anyone else ranking players (which I did myself in this thread), but you can take this list of the top 15 or 20 freshmen you have and throw it out the window in a couple years. A list of the top 15 or 20 players will be drastically different then IMO.

I couldn't agree more. I said the same thing in another thread about 7th graders. There are a lot of kids who simply develop way earlier than others. My best friend growing up was 5-7 when he was 11 and maybe 5-9 as a 13 or 14 year old. I think he might be 5-9 and 1/3 now.

I do agree...but this is for this year! I think ever one knows things change every year. Big men start to develop and it moves guards down the line unless they grow to plus 6. Kids start playing other sports Oh yea, Girls Girls!

Can we just have a little fun and enjoy ourselves and this freshman class.:thumb:

Were just a bunch of Basketball Guru want to Be's any way.:D

Hicks, Quick, and Ferguson are in a class by themselves. The next 15-20 could be in any order on any particular day! All the kids mentioned are outstanding players and have a chance to play D1 basketball if they continue to improve. This class is loaded!
