August 9, 200917 yr GSP's stand up is not that great. Matt Serra knocked out GSP. GSP simply has superior wrestling and ground and pound and I would expect him to use that against Silva. I would have to agree, After thinking about it.... Not one single person in this world can stand with The Spider...
August 9, 200917 yr What's up with Griffin running out? I don't follow MMA, but that seemed to be a weak move. Is that normal?
August 9, 200917 yr Did anyone else have problems with the PPV.. We saw a total of about 7 minutes of action and countless minutes of black screen. I'm glad Penn won, wish I could of saw it. I'm not the only one...:dancingpa
August 9, 200917 yr Exactly. He can take a punch and he can give one. It's going to take a guy like that to beat the Spider. Sure he lost the first match in the second round, but... 1. He's the only guy to date to actually win a round against Silva. 2. Silva rocked him, but didn't KO him. He choked him out. Like I said, I'll be surprised if Hendo actually beats him. But, I give him the best chance of anyone in sight. Plus, Hendo won't be afraid. He'll come to the octagon to win. It will be an entertaining fight. This rematch needed to happen. I can't believe the UFC wanted Hendo-Franklin instead. Hendo and Franklin are not fighting. Hendo gets Silva next at middleweight for the title and Franklin gets Belfort at UFC 103.

August 9, 200917 yr I'm not the only one...:dancingpa Second time this has happened to me.. At 2 different locations.

August 9, 200917 yr It's not common but the UFC doesn't interview the loser all that often anyways. Still, in the other fights it seemed that the losing fighter would stick around for the part where the ref raises the winner's hand, and they would often speak with the winning fighter. I thought it was odd....

I thought it was odd.... It was odd, but Forrest is an emotional guy. I doubt he meant any disrespect by it. He is a very emotional guy. He cried after one loss against Keith Jardine. Like I said, not common...but nothing huge. It's not what Lesnar did .

August 9, 200917 yr Forrest ran out of the cage because he was probably afraid Silva would punch him again. Silva beat Griffen so bad it looked like Forrest took a dive. Silva is the baddest man on the planet regardless of class. GSP needs to stay at 170 because he wouldnt last more than 3 rounds with Anderson. Anderson needs to stay at 205 because no one at 185 is going to challenge him. BJ is the man at 155. I think more of me picking Florian was just me wanting him to win. BJ looked good, looked like he had some muscle and wasnt fat or out of shape. He will clean out that division.

August 9, 200917 yr Griffin looked so out of his element..He didn't look like he'd ever fought an MMA fight before. He looked terrible. I thought this would be one of those all time great fights. What a let down.
August 9, 200917 yr WOW, I never seen that comin. Silva was playing with Griffin. I really expected this to be a really good fight. I wasn't sure who would come out on top.
