I don't think this will amount to much except bad publicity for Ben and the Steelers. Sounds like a bogus, money grubbing scheme to me. Same thing with the Kobe case imo.

I will say that it is probably bogus and she is just trying to get money but I find it funny he already gets a free pass on this when the same thing happened to Kobe and he was acquitted he still gets labeled in that category by some.

 

Um the elephant in the room that Kobe apologists like to leave out is he was charged so the cops and DA thought that there was enough evidence he did it. In this case either she approached the cops and they didn't think there was evidence or she skipped the cops and went for the lawsuit a year later. How quickly after Kobe's encounter were the cops notified? Didn't she go to the hospital right away?

 

I'm not saying Kobe did anything illegal, but his situation was far different.

Anyone put Palmer in the same situation and I don't think opinions would change. If it was Harrison or Holmes, I would have some doubts. This came out a year later and she went straight to civil lawsuit... sounds fishy to me...

The manor of which this came about isn't all that fishy to me. But it is just fishy as a whole. Big Ben makes 15 Mil a year and can go walk into a club and have his pick of the cream of the crop. He doesn't need to do this. She just wants money just like in the Kobe case.
