If by "proven" you mean a low-cost stud starting pitcher who is still in his 20's, yes.

I'm well aware of that....I wouldn't trade him, but if they traded him for another pitcher...then that's just plain stupid. If they trade would have to go after a big time bat.

Pretty impressive pitch to Howard there in that 3-2 count.
