July 1, 200917 yr Or his 15 losses and 5.69 Era? True, but he's always been like this. He can be great for a month at a time or he can have a month like June. He's their 4th starter. He's an innings eater that will win between 12-15 games. A contender isn't giving anything for him now anyways b/c of his arm.
July 1, 200917 yr Not exactly instant offense. Why send Burton down? He has been pitching pretty well.I assume it's because Burton has options left and most of the rest of the bullpen doesn't.
July 1, 200917 yr So is Sutton the new flavor of the month at third base? I don't really get it, Edwin is due back at the end of this week.

I think a trade involving Encarnacion is about to go down. Edwin didn't play at all for the Bats last night. It was listed as a manager's decision. Since when do players out on rehab not play because of the manager's decision. Especially with Louisville having today off.

July 1, 200917 yr From what I've read, Encarnacion won't be back until about the All-Star break. On July 10th he would not be able to rehab anymore. So they have to call him up or put him back on the DL.

This after you phoned his dad to ask if he was here. So, even with solid info that his son was in Alabama, you still didn't believe it and walked down to the dugout to verify. And now you expect me to believe that EE is on the chopping block. Come on!!!!!!

Come on!!!!!! I thought maybe Brandon had flown in to Cincinnati after talking to his dad. I didn't realize until later that he was going to be in Birmingham until at least Friday. You even said yourself that it looked like him from where we were sitting.
