June 25, 200917 yr Missing from the humor is the sad realization that this is a huge blow for a Republican party already plagued by hypocrisy. Sandford was one of the few guys who was well-liked and stayed true to the supposed values of the GOP. It's tough to find a good Republican candidate nowadays. Republicans, the party of Christians, small government, and strong foreign policy, give us candidates that have sex scandals, spending problems, and a tendency to lie to the public. There are few candidates left....
