June 24, 200917 yr Author Now its starting to make more sense. http://www.thestate.com/154/story/838823.html Goodbye, 2012. While this doesn't really change my opinion of his ability to governor, you are right that 2012 is gone for him. That stinks, because at a cursory glance of his policies he is someone I could vote for. Also, from the sound of this article his family more than likely knew where he was at and his wife didn't want to expose the affair.
June 24, 200917 yr I'm disappointed in Sandord. I'm from SC and he is loved and admired down there, and this is pretty shocking. And I too would have voted for him in 2012. His ability as governor isn't a question, but I didn't question Clinton's ability as President either, it was his moral fails that made me dislike him.

If someone's ability to do their job isn't in question...then why does it matter if he has an affair? If he is able to do an excellent job as governor shouldn't that be the only issue to the voting public.

June 24, 200917 yr Look very closely. You'll figure it out. I didn't see that. That's too bad. He is still a good governor-at least from his past actions- but like many politicians a bad man. He did say that he was never running for office again after his term a while back though.
June 24, 200917 yr And I too would have voted for him in 2012. . Somewhere in Louisiana a man smiles.

His wife released a statement saying that she told him to get out 2 weeks ago.
June 24, 200917 yr “The issue of lying is probably the biggest harm, if you will, to the system of Democratic government...." Who said the above?
