My wife said she heard where he called the woman in Argentia, "his soulmate" but he was going back to South Carolina to fall in love with his wife again. WHATEVER:puke:

Forgiving him for his action is different than voting or retaining him in office. He shouldn't be treated as a leper and not be given a chance to make a living but shouldn't be in office to serve the public for a good while.

 

Now if the forgiveness is 5-10 years later after he has shown he has his ducks in a row, than I could understand that.

I have to agree with you on this one. If my spouse called someone other than me their soulmate, I would leave in a heart beat, not look back and kick their butt to the curb.

Sorry but you missed the point. You tied "we can't trust him" because "his family can't trust him". You based what we should do on what his family does. Yet you refuse to agree that the same logic should apply to forgiveness. That's hypocritical any way you cut it. But spin away if you must.

 

For the record, I think he has violated the public's trust and should resign as Governor because of what will surely be an inability to lead his state effectively throughout the balance of his term, but my opinion has nothing to do with how his family feels about being able to trust him.

Isn't it funny that one week ago we all assumed that the next governor to resign would be Gov. Sanford.

I'm not sure his recent actions support that.

I saw a blog this morning that tested one on their ability to determine if the writing was from a Sanford email to his lover or from a trashy romance novel.

I meant "principled" in terms of politics (staying true to his beliefs) but yes, he is a hypocrite, as I stated.
