So I Probably had the worst 15 minutes of my life tonight.

Before I get into the story, some background information about myself has to be given. When I turned 20, I received some inheritance and decided to buy a new car. A Nav Blue 2008 Pontiac G6 GXP, and if anyone knows what that is, it's pretty nice.

So on to tonight. Three friends of mine and myself went to the Barboursville, WV Hooters to eat dinner and afterwards we stopped at a bar. On our way home on 64 West we see a piece of tire tread in the middle of our lane. We couldn't get over because there was a car in the opposite lane. So I tried to move over enough to miss it without going off the road. Needless to say I ran over it and the sound it made seemed to me like a tire had been blown, no big deal. So I pull off the side of the road and I see that I have no back bumper. I love this vehicle more than just about any other possession I've ever had and here it is with no back bumper. And to add insult to injury, I got pulled over and received a ticket for having no license plate.

:ohbrother:

WOW that's a rough night buddy. What county you in? Send me a pm I'll see what I can do.

If that's the worst 15 minutes of your life, then it sounds like you've had a pretty good life.

I would think that if you go to court instead of just paying the ticket that you could probably get out of it.

Yep. If this is the worst thing that ever happens to you, you are incredibly lucky.

These things are little tests to get you ready for life.

I agree wholeheartedly!

Exactly!

Sometimes cops are just stupid. You have no license plate because your bumper just fell off...

Safe to say you have never married/divorced/child custody fight...But you said 15 minutes. :jump:

Nice car hope you can get it fixed.

How is the cop suppose to know that he just lost his bumper, unless it's sticking out of the trunk?

I'm sure it's still lying in the road. Bumpers just don't disappear after they fall off. I know it could be one of those things where the cop could think he was lying but I guess there are more factors that go into it.

I wouldn't call the cop stupid.

He/she can't believe everything they hear.

Did you show them the bumper that got torn off? Why didn't you call someone when it happened? And isn't this what insurance is for?

It didn't happen to him.

I know. The second part was meant for the person it happened to.

I didn't mean to call the cop "stupid" I just get riled up over tickets and what not. I know some are just and others are unjust.
