June 10, 200917 yr LA didn't lay defense well enough to win tonight. Honestly I do not think either team did. Lakers were above 50% from the field tonight as well and would have been near the mid 50's without the last possession of 1 for 6.

The only reason that I have ever criticized Kobe's clutchness is when the Lakers trail near the end of a game. One thing that people fail to think about is that it is easier to hit a shot when you have a slim lead or in what I call a 50/50 situation which is a tie game. No where near the pressure of having to hit shots to tie up the game or to take the lead. Kobe has very few examples of this, especially in the playoffs. I will give him being a closer, because by definition he does close games. When the Lakers have a 3 point lead he is going to hit a big shot to ice the game, which is great and he is one of the best at it. But, when something truely rides on a shot I just haven't seen enough of him hitting the big shot. Say what you want, but give examples please.

June 10, 200917 yr When it comes to goal tending calls...why is everyone forgetting that Howard went through the rim to block Pau's dunk early in game 2. Game 2 never should have been tied at the end of regulation in the first place.

True, alot of people will say that Orlando was lights out, but LA hit what like their first 8 shots of the fourth? Great game, either team could have won.

Give examples of who is better and we can continue the discussion. All this game did was give you convenient reasoning for debate which is really hate for Kobe. I have to be at work at 6:30 and really don't feel like going through all of this.....again. The Black Mamba has 1 bad 4th quarter and you are ready to pounce, but I am not surprised...and it's still all good. He'll still be Finals MVP.
