June 4, 200917 yr It could have been a health issue, but David was a legendary drug abuser, from weed to LSD. Although he quit, it was just several years ago. I've know people to have acid flashbacks that make them do outrageous things, decades after their last hit. Wouldn't surprise me, if that was it.

My sympathy goes out to the family and friends of David Carridine. Now, as far as your question HOOPS, I am not so sure why anyone can figure out why someone would take their own life. Not just in this case but in any case. A person has to be in twisted, sick frame of mind at the time they do this and I don't think that anyone could ever tell or say "why" a person commits suicide or what they were thinking.

A couple of them suggested foul play might have been involved. The family states that everything that is being said right now is based on rumor and speculation.

I've had two friends take their life within the past year. Nobody would've ever thought they would do that either.
