May 27, 200917 yr He at least could have spelled his name right. :lol: I got to see Landon play quite a bit in high school, and I never felt he was high D-1 by no means. I wish him the best of luck no matter where he ends up and hopefully it will be somewhere where he can get some pt. I cannot blame him one bit for walking on at UK last season, what young Kentucky boy wouldn't want to wear the blue and white?
May 27, 200917 yr Author I think if he visits Morehead on Friday, he'll be an Eagle. Tyndall is a great recruiter and that will be a good school for Landon that is still close to home. And, it's still DI.
May 27, 200917 yr Author Slone had this to say about the workouts with Calipari: Slone said he "disagreed 100 percent" with Calipari's decision not to let him participate in every team workout last month after Calipari was hired. Slone said he was allowed to practice only in the first of UK's four team workouts. Other walk-ons had their workout time limited, Slone said, and he said he likely won't be the last to leave.

Sorry guys, this one just hits a little close to home for me. Of course, I hope Landon finds another place to play and I hope UK continues to improve. I guess I was just hoping that his walk-on status would allow him to be part of a special team next season.
