Has a player from a class A school ever won Mr. Football in Ky?

To lazy to look it up does anyone know. In your opinion does it put players at smaller schools at a disadvantage?

NCC was 2a. They dropped from 3a - 2a in 1984, when they won the 1st state title, followed by 2 runner-up finishes in 1985 and 1986.

They were 1A in 1999 and State Runner-up to Beechwood. :thumb:

He didn't win it but Brandon Berger (Beechwood) was a finalist.

Greg Hergott (Beechwood) was a finalist in 1994, the year Shaun Alexander won it.

Nothing wrong with finishing runner-up to that guy!(Alexander) Hergott,Burger and Jacobs were three of the best to ever lace them up in Northern Kentucky and also great people too!

The list of great football players from northern Kentucky would be very long and this area has been blessed with great talent throughout the years in all classes!

I don't believe Mr. Football was being awarded yet, but back in the late 70's early 80's a little old school in Bellevue had a pretty good runningback that would of won it that year hands down. Anybody............?
