May 12, 200917 yr From Zagsblog: John Wall is down to two schools — Kentucky and Miami — according to multiple sources close to the situation. The kid is leaning toward Kentucky. There is a little bit of a concern with the people closest to him that if he goes to Kentucky that they’re going to lose control.” LINK
May 12, 200917 yr Who is going to lose control? Kentucky? Clifton, his handler who is wanting to be his agent next year. He feels that he may lose that job if Wall comes to Kentucky. At least that's what I've gathered from the other threads on here.
May 12, 200917 yr Sounds like his 'people' want him at Miami where they can still maintain some control instead of Calipari having the control. If that is the case, UK may be in for a battle to the end on this one.
May 12, 200917 yr It would be nice to have him...but at this point I have become so frustrated listening to this that I just don't care where he goes now!

This is a situation you see quite often, family members, or handlers want one thing, the kid may want another. We shall see how this shakes out, many have reported for awhile that this young man was a UK lean! He only makes this class and overall, this team, better! In the end it would be dynamic to get him, but it will not be as bad as some think. Coach Cal and this team will be very solid regardless! Edited May 12, 200917 yr by spindoc
May 12, 200917 yr Matt Jones is saying this is not correct according to Jody Demling and someone else in the recruiting circle.

I think Cal has shown 2 straight years that he can get a PG ready for the NBA (Rose now Evans) in 1 season. That really has to help UK in this regard. Either way, the Cats will be pretty solid this year. Wall would just be the icing on the cake.
May 12, 200917 yr Evan Daniels and Jody Demling are reporting that Wall has not trimmed his list, according to Matt Jones!
