April 30, 200917 yr As I've studied this I can't agree it is stupid. Even though the symptoms are the almost the same as the seasonal flu there are some stark differences. This a new viral infection which no one in the human race has ever been exposed to. So none of us will have any antibodies to fight this disease. There are now people who are getting infected that have not been to Mexico. This is why the W.H.O. raised pandemic level to 5. Even though there are medicines that if used early can help a person recover now these viruses are known to mutate. This means there is no guarantee this will continue. Also with no swine flu vaccine now this means that they will have to come up with one. With a limited capacity to make the seasonal flu vaccine this will take away from that and might cause shortages later this year. Me either, anythime lives are threatened it has to be taken serious.

Health officials announced a probably case in Fayette County at a briefing on Friday afternoon. The middle aged man, who has not been identified, is recovering at home. He is not in the hospital. We're told the man visited Alabama over the weekend, where there are some probable cases of the virus.
