April 28, 200917 yr Phillips: .167 avg 1 HR 6 RBI Edwin: .137 avg 1 HR 6 RBI Gonzo: .152 avg 1 HR 6 RBI But yeah, I can see why Edwin is the only one being bashed on....
April 28, 200917 yr BP is lost at the plate right now. He's got to move him out of the 4 hole, I think that might help get his confidence going. I know people keep saying the Reds don't have any other candidates, and that's true. However anyone can do as well as BP right now, personally I'd like to see them put Hernandez there. He's not a 4 hitter either, but he is a veteran and has been a decent run producer in his career.

I'd love to see him moved down to 6 or 7 right now. Let him hit his way out eventually. We need a run producer there, preferably a right-handed hitter, but at this point anything is better than nothing. Stupid Berkman just went deep...... Also, even though he is hitting poorly I think the 2 hole isn't a bad spot for Phillips skill set, of course that would require him to actually take a pitch or two.

BP doesn't take enough pitches to hit 2. He swings at way too many 1st pitches. I like seeing him hit 6 in this lineup. Problem is there isn't a four hitter.
April 28, 200917 yr Phillips: 2 E's Gonzo: 2 E's Edwin: 3 E's Yeah, that's a big difference. The season is early, it's laughable to compare EE with those two when it comes to defense.

April 28, 200917 yr To me, it's simple. There are people on here that for whatever reason just flat-out have a dislike for Edwin. That's fine, but don't try to play it off and act like you want him out because of his play, when two other guys are producing just as little as he is, but there is no mention there. Just be honest guys.

April 28, 200917 yr IMO Edwin needs a change of scenery.. And if he ever gets it, I think he'll take off..
