Playoffs are a game of matchups. Cavs simply cannot match up with Lewis/Turkoglu. Whoever LeBron doesn't guard can have a field day. Also, Pietrus has played lights out. Wonder when his contract is out? If it's after this season he will probably get a big pay day. The Lakers match up better with the Magic than the Cavs do. If the Cavs are finished, which game 4 will tell us all we need to know, I would expect the Nuggets or Lakers to match up better with the Magic and really limit what they can do. The lack of an athletic PF to match up with Lewis and the stature of D West have really killed the Cavs in this series.
May 25, 200917 yr Yeah, I hate it for LeBron because he has had such a great year. In this series he kind of reminds me of Kobe from a couple of years ago when Kobe couldn't get any help from his teammates. The sad part is that LeBron's teammates all had great years. The Cavs are a great team. They just don't look like one right now. LeBron cannot do it all by himself. It's wild to think that he had 40 points, 9 assists, 6 rebounds and it was a "bad game" because he couldn't hit a jumper to save his life. If his jumper was falling he'd have had about 60 points.

I think they are a match up nightmare for the Cavs and I think everyone who knows basketball can see that. The would have alot tougher time with the Lakers/Nuggets than the Cavs would. I think most Western Conference fans would rather see the Magic win. An athletic 4 like Odom or Martin will be better suited to guard Lewis, and the size in the 1-3 that the Nuggets or Lakers bring will help them out. Howard will get his on anyone (especially if he's making free throws), but he doesn't kill you offensively. As a fan of basketball I should have thought about the match ups, but I don't think you can convince me that the Magic are the better team, even if they win. I just don't think the Cavs can match up very well, and even if they some how pull this series out it is something they will have to fix in the offseason. The series is still 2-1 and it's not over. Eventually, you would think that Williams, West or Ilgauskus would have a decent game shooting the ball. Why should it be 3-0? LBJ's jumper was similar to the one from Lewis in game 1. It could just as easily be 2-1 Cavs and anyone who knows anything about any kind of sport knows that. Very true. But, you have to remember I'm an easy target because I don't bow down at the feet of Kobe Bryant. :lol:

They have two 6'10 Small forwards in their starting lineup, one of them LeBron will guard one and then a slower player in Varejao, Smith, or Ben Wallace will have to guard the other. Dwight Howard will have a much older and slower Zydrunaz Ilguaskus on him, the matchups favor Orlando. It does not help that Mo Williams and Delonte West have disappeared. Please do not say I don't know anything about Basketball. I watched the same games that you did and this series should be 2-1 Cleveland.

I think it should be 3-0 Magic because Cleveland has yet to play a full game. It took a series-saving 3 pointer from LeBron for Cleveland to win a game and they played horrible in that 4th quarter also. You have to play for 48 minutes and Cleveland has yet to do that.
