May 15, 200917 yr Pathetic performance today by the Lakers, if they make it past the Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals, they will get swept by the Cavs in the Finals and if they don't make it to the finals and the Celtics were to make it there I wouldn't put it past the Celtics to repeat. As for the Rockets, if Yao can stay healthy and T-Mac can, they will be the best team in the NBA next year, especially with the Depth they have established in this playoffs. There aren't many great coaches in the NBA, but gosh darn it, Rick Adelman is the best. No way the Cavs would sweep them, if it happens. Jet lag maybe? :idunno: I mentioned this the other day. Kobe is only what, 31 years old. However, he has probably played the equivalent of a few more seasons if you consider the Lakers success when he was younger, the Olympics, and not having an extra month or two off come playoff time each year... Plus this past off season he did not have an off season. I am sure the Lakers are happy they get the extra day rest for game 7.

Jet lag maybe? :idunno: The Lakers are playing some of the worst basketball of these playoffs, they didn't look particularly impressive against the Jazz in round 1 and have looked like complete and utter crap in this series. Cleveland won't sweep any of the three possible teams to come out of the West... I don't think they would sweep the Rockets or Nuggets, but the Lakers are playing like crap right now, how you did in the post season has absolutely no bearing your record in the regular season, because the way the Lakers played last night, it looks like they won about 15 games all season. Atlanta was also healthy, Houston isn't.
May 15, 200917 yr Houston unhealthy is better than Atlanta, easily too. Clevland has been impressive against teams that would not of made the playoffs in the Western Conference. Pretty easy to dominate inferior competition. The Lakers have looked bad in Houston, but have looked pretty good at home.
May 15, 200917 yr BigSpikes, they beat the Jazz 4-1. The Jazz are a solid team. A much better team than Atlanta and Detroit this season. At some point you have to give the Rockets some respect, they've been bringing it on the defensive end of the court. They might be with Yao, but they've got something none of the other teams left have.... two guys that can make life tough for Kobe.
