UK haters/wannabe rivals won't have much to talk about in coming years...it seems. While the bandwagon thing seems funny there are actually some fans who switched to UL fans with Ricky P. Wonder if they will feel they made the same mistake leaving UK that Pitino has admittedly done? Time will tell!

There were people who never gave Tubby a chance because he followed Pitino, there were people who didn't want to give Billy G a chance because he followed Tubby and people didn't feel like he was treated right at the end. Now I think everyone is united again and very happy with the hire. I mean most of the UK haters really didn't have to do much, us UK fans fought among ourselves the most on here. Now any arguments will be just be against non UK fans, instead of against each other all the time. :thumb:
April 18, 200917 yr Shouldn't EXPECT anything just yet. Just support your team. I do expect one thing. To get the freakin bye in the SEC tournament. I knew the program was turning south when they started playing on Thursdays in the SEC tourney. Oh and that was before BCG!

I have yet to experience any one jumping on the bandwagon. With me, instead of no one talking about UK, every one is talking about UK.......LOUDLY. If that's the case truly for you, then you should venture out into the wide world of college message boards and look and see how UK fans try to take over other schools message boards. On Devil's Illustrated, the Duke Blue Devil message board, there is a "sticky" that was left at the top of the board by the board admin that states "All UK fans read this thread before being annoying". UK fans are everywhere and on every schools message board that they feel the need to make their presence known(UT,UL, UNC, UF and Duke to name a few). Me myself, as a Duke fan, I will chime on here anytime I feel like chiming in. I am not disrespectful and do all I can to be sensible in discussion. I definitely am not going to agree with everything that is said, but I paid my money just like everyone else on here has and I will post were I feel and what I feel, within the rules, of course. One thing no one can ever say I have done is come on here during the BCG tenure and rag on UK. I just recently started giving my opinion on UK basketball in the last month or so anyways. Your opening paragraph is the kind of talk that opens things up to a point one day where when a team may actually get the best of UK and then they will show up on UK message boards and really let you have it. It would sound so much better if you said "I hope" UK haters/wannabe rivals, etc won't have much to talk about and it'd give me less reason to even want to chime in in the first place.
April 18, 200917 yr This is true, this isn't a joke. Here as of late I have saw/heard/been around more UK fans than I have been able to see in the last 2-4 years. It's amazing where they have all went to hide, then come out into the light once they get elite an coach and a stacked recruiting class. It has been amazing to see this, and I know it will only grow and get worse and worse. Much worse.. I really haven't seen that at all? The fans are certainly more excited, can you blame us?

April 18, 200917 yr Cal has done more in the weeks since his hire, than BCG did in 2 years I bet some of the nightclubs would disagree with you.
