Pushing the 20 year mark, but Michael Allen and Roy Booker of Bryan Station. Michael averaged 35 pts a game and a lot of that was because of Bookers point guard play. Allen played at then SW Louisana and Booker played at Cambellsville.

Silverhorn was around '01. Slaughter was like '05 or '06. Don't think they ever played together.

 

Silverhorn graduated in 02 and played with another really good player, but I can't think of his name. Slaughter was in 06, and, as has now been established, played with another good guard in White. Shelby was very talented both seasons.

Robert Daniels, was his name. He was rated the #3 player in the region (behind Silverhorn, who was #2). Daniels is listed as a 6'5'' Forward, though. Comments say that he's capable of putting up 40 points each night, when he's hot.

Shannon Hoskins and Robert Marcum from Clay Co. in '92. Mark Smith was not the SG as someone earlier posted. Mark was more of a "3", not a 2. Shannon signed with S. Carolina, then went on to Georgetown for a solid career. Robert signed with Alice Lloyd and if I'm not mistaken, he's their all-time leading scorer.

Yeah, all the above is correct, except Daniels wasn't 6-5. He was a forward though at about 6-3 or just a bit bigger. And he was a good player, but I don't know about scoring 40 points. :scared:

 

I'm not sure who the point guard on this team was, but Silverhorn and Daniels were certainly a nice one two punch.

All nice players, but Morris and Brown weren't in the backcourt for Fairdale. Carlos Turner played the point during their run in 90 and 91.

 

Brown & Morris both played small forward in Fairdale's System. However, both handled the ball as Fairdale pushed it up the floor. Morris led the team in assist. Carlos played the two guard in Fairdale's high post offense. Tony Wheat ran the the point in 90 and Jeff thompson ran the point in 91. In this thread Fairdale's Wheat and Turner were solid.
