What position did Jermaine Brown play for the Fairdale teams?

 

For lack of a better term a "3", or small forward. I really do not remember their entire starting unit and he could have been a shooting guard at times.

Considering true backcourts this would be my top 5:

 

1. Bud Mackey and Matt Walls

2. Chris Lofton and whoever else

3. Demetrius Green and William Graham

4. Rick Jones and AW Hamilton

5. David Graves and William Fields

 

I never saw Fairdale so I didn't count them. And Richie Farmer and Alan Houston were beyond 20 years I believe. Also if Grutza played in the backcourt with Lofton I'd put them 1st, but I guess thats disputable. Could a Mason Co. fan clear that up?

Kevin Paschel and Mike Griffith were a pretty good backcourt for PRP.

Their classic games were in 1987-88, just missing the cut.

All nice one, two punches. But are they all backcourt guys at the hs level? At Mason for instance, neither Grutza nor Lofton played the point. And Elton Scott seemed more of a forward than guard at Marion.

 

Backcourt for 1993 State Champs Marion County was Anthony Epps and Michael Douglas who played at Kentucky State. Scott was a 6'7" forward.

Doesn't change things a whole lot because Douglas could really shot the three ball and score.

Cedric Gumm and Rico Banks from Warren Central......Gumm went on to play at Murray State and Banks went on to play at Oakland City Community College.

Silverhorn was around '01. Slaughter was like '05 or '06. Don't think they ever played together.
