Ever had an off night, or two?

 

Ive never took 28 shots on an off night. :lol:

 

Hes a great player no doubt. Anyone would like a player like him on their team. He does a lot of things very good. Just what I have noticed from watching him is he can do a better job finishing once he gets in the lane.

No offense intended to these two players as they are certainly quality kids but I would like to see what they would do playing in the 7th,9th or 11th with quality athletic defenders going against them most every night.

 

I think of kids like Zach McElwain at Seneca and Delquan Thomas at Eastern and I have a hard time believing they could not achieve similar numbers if allowed the same number of shots and minutes as Justice and Polson!

 

I disagree, and I'm a 9th region guy. Justice is more than just a "good" player in a bad region. He is legitimate and the second best player returning in the state behind Ricardo Johnson IMO

As you can tell, I am an Elliott fan, but as far as Justice is concerned, he is one of the best returning point guards in the state of Kentucky.

Who are some of the best players returning next year?

What reason do you have of putting Ashland with Glasgow. Do you have some inside info?

I can't remember another game this season where he even took 20 shots (it may have happened, but I can't remember it). That is not his game and he is as unselfish as any player you'll see. He averages 17+ points, but could easily average 22-25 if he shot more. The way I saw it was that he either felt that was the only way to keep them in the game, or someone on the coaching staff told him he had to do more of the scoring.

 

Whether he had an off game or not, Elisha is still one of the top players in the state and anyone who wouldn't want a winner like him on their team doesn't know much about basketball. It was obvious to most at Rupp that he had the best handles of anyone there, and even being double teamed, managed to split it at will (even though he didn't finish a lot of them). Even on a 9-28 night, he still gave them a chance to win that game. The missed layup with 27 seconds left down 4 hurt badly, but what do you say when he was the main reason you were there and had such a magical season to begin with? Elisha is the ultimate team player and will do whatever it takes to help the team win, whether it means scoring 4 or 40.

No problem. I was honestly just joking around about him taking 28 shots on a bad night. I did not think he came off as selfish. I thought he really compted to win.

I haven't seen those two play, but I guarantee they could hold their own regardless of the competition.

 

Polson showed me that much against Central when his ability to penetrate got him to the line repeatedly where he only missed 1 free throw for the game. If you give him too much space, he'll knock down the jumper. He didn't shoot too many jumpers Saturday morning, but he is not one to force his shot either. Plus, he was getting to the line because of his penetration. It'd be clear if you had the opportunity to watch him the whole season.

 

I only saw Justice in the Sweet 16, but he was the quickest point guard(arguably) in the tournament and his ability to create his shots, move the ball to keep teammates involved, defensive play and his competitiveness showed me enough. It also showed ESPN.com's scouts enough also, they rated him as an 86 based off of what they saw, which is good for the second highest rating after Elijah Pittman.

The best rising seniors out of Louisville next year IMO and in no order
