Euton is a better shooter and offensive player. And hes a better rebounder. JJ is a better defender and much quicker.

I disagree, and I'm a 9th region guy. Justice is more than just a "good" player in a bad region. He is legitimate and the second best player returning in the state behind Ricardo Johnson IMO

Justice shot 56.3% from the field this season (48.5% from long range). I think he can finish.

 

You can't cherry pick one game with a low percentage and make that the rule.

 

By all accounts, his performance vs. Elliott County was very good. A bad shooting percentage doesn't automatically mean a bad game. Not to mention, when you're forced to jack up a lot of threes playing catch-up, it's most likely not going to be your best shooting game percentage-wise.

 

For the tourney, he played all 64 minutes...

He is a very good player. I think he is probably a top 10 player in the junior class that is loaded with talent. He does a lot of things well, but there are somethings he needs to improve on.

Matt St. Johns, Josh Whitaker, Polson, Delquan Thomas, Ian Chiles, and Mike Walker are a few more very good ones as well.

 

Those players that you just mentioned, along with Orlando Rutledge (Fern Creek), Kevin Glenn (Male), Quintrell Morris (Fairdale), Jomari Bradshaw (Waggener), Alexsander Nikolic (Manual), and Donovan Johnson (Shelby County), round out the top 25 seniors for next year.

 

Kentucky is going through a cycle right now, where there is a lot of talent in each class. I think the c/o 2010 might be one of the best to ever come through though.

Keisten Jones will be a junior. He's their "big man". Nice size kid at 6'4 with a lot of talent.

The only way Euton scores is off the set shot or getting put backs against smaller defenders. Give me one thing that Euton does, that J.J. can't. J.J. can also shoot the set 3 (not as good as Euton) but he can knock it down. J.J. is better off the dribble, better at finishing at the rim, better at handling the ball, better mid-range game, and is the better passer of the two. Euton is a better post player. Late in the year Euton finished a lot of baskets inside posting up and its an area he has really improved. Also Euton has gotten to were he is very good at pulling up off the dribble and hitting shots. I would call passing a wash. Euton is a much better spot up shooter and has much more range (for all of the things Euton is criticized for you can't knock his shooting ability). I have seen both of them pass the ball well at times. I thought offensively he really improved as the year went along. I think JJ is a very good player also.

I agree the kid can shoot. He has unlimited range when he gets his feet set.

Blake Bryan of Villa Madonna and yes he was a junior this year. I believe he averaged 33 or 34 ppg.

 

I wouldn't put him in the same class as some of the others being mentioned in this thread though.

I can remember watching Euton when he was in 8th grade. There was a lot of hype around the young man at that point and rightfully so. He was probably the best 8th grader in the country. Since then, he has not gotten much better IMO. He is awkward moving down the floor, he is a good shooter, but I think he gets into foul trouble and gets out-muscled for rebounds against more athletic competition-see the Holmes game-I wish him the best, but at this point he is not a top 15 player in the state.
