Congrats Bulldogs! The state title is coming back to nky and Holmes becomes the only current 9th region team with a state title!!!!! This team showed a lot of character throughout the game. Down 10 in the 3rd quarter and they come back to take the lead. Face adversity in both overtimes but continue to knock down big shot after big shot. Holmes deserved to win and this has been a long awaited celebration for Covington Holmes faithful. I'm especially happy for Holmes coach Wimzie who had his state title robbed from him in '78.

What a great game but I have one question. On the Holmes inbounds pass with about 24 secs left. The ball was thrown into the back court and the player looked like he jumped from the front court and caught the ball in the air before landing in the back court. Wouldn't that be considered over and back? It doesn't matter now and I congratulate Holmes on a great win but I was just wondering if anyone else saw the play.

Awesome job Holmes...congrats.....I also want to give Central major props.....they started 0-8 on the year, and ended up so very close to the title...way to stick with it........Louisville is proud of Central.
